The huge covered track is designed for 1/8 scale vehicles and includes an expansive driver's stand, raised pit lane, 220" jumbotron, and bleachers for spectating. The track itself covers 24,000sqft making it the largest permanent covered offroad track in the world. Host of the 2014, 2016 and 2019 ROAR Fuel Offroad Nationals and The Dirt Lonestar Nitro Challenge. Thornhill has established itself as a top destination for world class RC competition. The Entire TRC complex is situated on 13.9 acres and has plenty of room for RV's, trailer and parking.

  • Expert Nitro Buggy - 1/8th scale .21 Nitro

  • Expert Nitro Truggy - 1/8th scale .21-.28 Nitro

  • E-Buggy - 1/8th scale, any motor or batteries.

  • E-Truggy - 1/8th scale, any motor or batteries.

The DO’s and DON’T’s of Thornhill Racing Circuit

DON’T drive out of control:
All drivers are expected to follow the direction of the track at all times unless otherwise instructed by a race official. Any driver found intentionally crashing into other cars or endangering spectators, officials, or other racers will be asked to leave.

DO keep your pit area clean:
Each driver is responsible for keeping their pit area clean. Trash cans are provided around the facility.

DON’T use foul language:
Please, no cussing or swearing on the drivers’ stand or in the pit area. Drivers must not yell at the marshals.

DO be careful on the drivers’ stand:
Use caution when entering and exiting the drivers’ stand. Please use hand rails when walking on ramps. Only drivers currently operating a vehicle are allowed on the drivers’ stand.

DON’T leave children unattended:
Thornhill Racing Circuit strives to provide a safe and family-friendly atmosphere at all times. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

DO marshal immediately after your race:
Every racer must marshal immediately following his or her race. If you are physically unable to turn marshal safely, please provide a replacement marshal.

DON’T steal:
In order to prevent theft, please be aware of your equipment at all times. All thefts will be reported to the police and will result in immediate expulsion.

DO practice good sportsmanship:
Racing should be fun and rewarding to those involved. Showing good sportsmanship is a way to insure all involved have a good time.

DON’T use drugs or alcohol:
Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on Thornhill Racing Circuit property at any time. Those found using drugs or alcohol will be disqualified and asked to leave immediately.

If you see any unsafe act or dangerous situation on the property, report it to a track official immediately. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and must be taken seriously.
